The Coastal Planning Authority Nearshore Boundary (3nm) was developed for the DCEE in accordance with the Maritime Area Planning Act 2021 - Nearshore Areas of CPAs.<\/span><\/p>

This process established an area extending three nautical miles offshore from the high water mark of a coastal planning authority (CPA). The boundaries between CPAs were delineated at points equidistant from each authority.<\/span><\/p>
